Once Upon a Crime!!

UM that was absolutely amazing!

So proud of Kate Sargeant, my Castle writing role model!

30 day Castle Challenge - Day 16 - Moment That Made You Cry

I may have forced myself to cry at Montgomery’s funeral once, for his memory, but for the moment where I actually cried naturally, we go once again to Cops & Robbers.

That moment when Martha and Castle are about to get, as far as they can reasonably guess, marched off to their deaths, or shot right where they’re standing (it’s been a while since I’ve seen this episode, sorry), and they’re just having that intensely emotional, incredibly well-acted (IMHO) mother-son moment and Castle is trying, as always, to lighten the mood… it was too much!

The weird thing is, I didn’t even cry the first time I saw it. It was when I re-watched it. Maybe I was in a weird mood or I extra-missed my mom or something, but basically this:

30 day Castle Challenge - Day 15 - Best Caskett Moment

I love the kiss (of Knockdown, not so much that Blue Butterfly crap), but I think I actually like the hug in Countdown better. Sorry, I’m too lazy to find more accurate gifs right now. But anyway, this is more natural than that by far and it’s just SUCH a great moment of genuine joy, and really, how can you not love Kate’s face in this situation.

I think I’ve already been over my actual favorite Caskett moment, which is when Beckett rescues Castle in Cops & Robbers.
